We believe every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and healthy home environment!
Our Mission is to protect children, strengthen families, and build a healthier, more resilent community across WNC. Every aspect of our programming is designed to prevent harm, reduce trauma, and expand opportunity.
All children and families in WNC live, play, and thrive with dignity.
The Children’s Center grew out of concern of a group of local community members who felt that abused children should be represented by an organization whose sole function was to advocate for these children. Since 1991, The Children’s Center has been advocating for abused and neglected children.
